  Nice Wisconsin pub. The beer is cold, the food is good, and Bob the bartender is a stellar guy. What more could you ask for?

  I have been here a couple times with a good experience. Staff Jason and Kim were very nice. Tonight I ordered the rib-eye steak and it smelled horrific. I don't understand how a steak could even make it out of the kitchen with that terrible odor and actually be served! That is even after it was cooked-I can't imagine the stench of this steak raw. The owner was in the restaurant, it was called to his attention, but he never made an attempt to rectify the situation. The staff agreed, apologized and removed the putrid steak while trying to be apologetic and accommodating. I typically never write negative reviews for restaurants, however, I believe the owner should have been diligent to address this situation. That is how people get truly ill.

  We sat ourselves, waited for a while before going up to the bar to ask for menus and drinks, and if we get server service or should go to the bar, at which point a waitress ran over saying I didn't know you wanted to eat.No one asked. We definitely felt like the outsiders, not recommended.

  The menu and beer/wine selections are what you'd expect to see in an upscale urban setting. Huge selection of tap and bottled beers along with unique wines. The tasty sliders are one of my favorites. The small plates give you the chance to try many different items. Perfect spot to dine after a great day in the Cedarburg Historic District. The building is 1870ish. Ask your waiter to tell you why it's called "The Stilt House."
